According to Ukrainian Book Chamber’s statistics, about 22,557 names of the books were printed in the country, with the total number of copies of about 45 million 58 thousand and 300. The number of book names is higher for almost 1%, while the total number of copies is 7,1% lower then in the previous year 2009. More books were printed in Ukrainian. Ukrainian books in 2010, compared to 2009, grew in number by 0,4%. Book publishers report that the money turnover in the book market is increasing.
